Join Sophie (science communicator and writer for BBC Wildlife, Countryfile, New Scientist and the Guardian) for a chat about her journey around the UK in search of ten rare species that could disappear entirely by 2050 because of climate change – the background to her superb book, Forget Me Not. Her low-carbon tour of Britain brought her to Wales in pursuit of seagrass along the coast of Snowdonia, and the harbour porpoise around Pembrokeshire. But Sophie’s message is also a clarion call and, like many of the millennial generation, she’s determined to demand actions on climate change that might, after all, save these and other species.
