A light-hearted show looking at motherhood based on the blogs of Bethan Read and adapted for the stage by her father, well known playwright and performer Peter Read.
Mum doesn’t find mothering easy. It’s like being expected to drive a juggernaut lorry when you haven’t passed your test. Muddling through Motherdom combines many of the tips found in the blogs and the foibles of two small boys coming to terms with the role of being a son. The play is a rich mixture of humour and poignancy. It also tackles the difficulty of a single mum facing depression.
