Previously an agony uncle for teenage girls’ magazine Bliss, Mike Gayle is a journalist and author of eighteen novels. He’s written for a variety of publications including The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail and Cosmopolitan. Mike’s novels include the Richard and Judy Book Club pick Half A World Away and All The Lonely People, hailed by The Guardian as ‘A heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting look at isolation’. In 2021, Mike was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Romantic Novelists’ Association. His books have been translated into more than thirty languages and in 2022 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Salford in recognition of his outstanding achievements.
