Jude Lennon – Patron – Wrexham Carnival of Words

My name is Jude Lennon and I’m a professional storyteller with Little Lamb Tales and an author under my own name. Mostly, I write picture books for children, many of which feature my storytelling mascots Lamby and Flossie. I’ve also written Middle Grade chapter books and a collection of short stories for adults. In 2022, I released a full length novel called Kintsugi – no lambs in this one and not for children either.

I’ve been involved in the Carnival for around 6 years now. Over those years, I’ve delivered workshops and storytelling sessions. It’s always great fun to be part of it. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed attending the varied and interesting events throughout the festival each year. There’s always something for everyone.

So why should you come along to the Carnival of Words? It’s a whole week devoted to books, words and stories – what could be better than that?. It will introduce you to new writers as well as some you already know. There are lots of events and interactive activities such as storytelling walks, Murder Mystery nights and debates. It’s also incredibly good value. You’ll also receive a very warm welcome from the team.
