Do you like books packed with intriguing characters, deceptive plots and a punch-to-the-gut finale? If the answer is ‘YES’, then we have just the event for you!
Come and meet Harriet Tyce, the author of psychological thrillers Blood Orange, The Lies You Told and her latest bestseller It Ends at Midnight. The event is being held at Wrexham Library on Wednesday 29th March at 7pm, with a ticket price of only £8 – it’s one you won’t want to miss!
Harriet Tyce was born and grew up in Edinburgh. She graduated in English from Oxford University in 1994, and after gaining legal qualifications worked as a criminal barrister for nearly ten years. After leaving the law she started writing, gaining a distinction in an MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) from the University of East Anglia in 2017. Having turned to fulltime writing her books have since topped the Sunday Times bestseller lists. Harriet currently lives in north London with her husband, children, and two dogs, and is currently working on her fourth novel.
However, as with most authors, there’s more to Harriet Tyce than one paragraph! What inspired her to write a short story about a man killing a tree? How long did she write for before being published? How could rejections get better every time? How did a writing course descend into a psychodrama? And how did the mentality of a gambler drive her to that longed for publication of her first novel Blood Orange? If you’d like to discover more about Harriet Tyce, and maybe the answers to some of these questions, then book your ticket now!
